Ski History

1991 Stowe/Jay's Peak, Vermont
Inaugural trip by John and Phil. Not much snow in Vermont in December. Remember to call before making the long drive.
1993 Crested Butte, Colorado
John, Phil, Dave and Curt enjoy our first trip out West. Big mountains but icy.
1994 Beaver Creek/Vail, Colorado
Big group, including people doing yoga.
1995 Snowshoe, West Virginia
John's running low on money so we stay close to home.
1996 Boyne Mountain, Michigan
A contact gets us a free weekend. John and Phil realize that it just isn't like out West.
1997 Jackson Hole, Wyoming/Grand Targhee, Idaho
An interesting trip to the little town of Tetonia. Not much but a pizza store, a goat, and John's hero.
1998 Big Sky, Montana
Another cheap trip through our contact.
1999 Vail, Colorado
Jim, Rol, Matt join the regulars. Skiing just got a little more interesting, partying a little later.
2000 Heavenly Lake Tahoe, California
Same crew but with more gambling.
2001 Steamboat Springs, Colordao
Same crew, still gambling.
2002 Breckenridge/Keystone, Colorado
Same crew in a nice house. Phil tries his snowboard.
2003 Breckenridge, Colorado (I missed this year)
2004 Telluride, Colorado
Phil, John and Jim stay at the base of the mountain. Hard skiing, late nights, and one early morning departure.
2005 Aspen, Colorado
Phil and John are the only ones left. Skiing has greatly improved over the years.
2006 Wolf Creek, Colorado

2006 Park City, Utah
Luxurious accomodations at Jeff and Keri's house. Plenty of POW and PBR.
2007 Whistler/Blackcomb, BC, Canada
The wives joined us this year. A great time with massive POW in the bowls but long lines for the lifts.
2009 Park City, Utah
Rollie, John and I stayed with Jeff and Keri again. My hip was still bugging me so I took it easy while the rest of the guys pounded down the bumps.
2010 Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Rol, Jim, John and I hit it hard. Some great powder skiing on a huge mountain. Jim had the helmet cam, so look for a video below. Jim and John were chased from the bar by Yoda.
